What will 'white filling' treatment involve?
After inspecting the tooth in question, your dentist will use a special disinfection to ensure the tooth is throughly clean before treatment. Your dentist will then select a colour for your white filling to match the surrounding teeth. Your white filling will then be shaped to fill in any cracks or gaps or to change the shape of your tooth. Unlike a standard amalgam filling, your new filling will blend into your smile and will be the same colour and shape as your other teeth – leaving you with a natural looking, beautiful smile.
How long will 'white filling' treatment take?
Depending on the size and number of fillings, the procedure can take from half an hour to a couple of hours and is completed in one visit.
