Fillings

Basically there are two types of fillings - Amalgam or Composite (white). Sometimes amalgam is used for larger fillings but most patients now choose white as an option.

If you have a cavity in a tooth, broken fillings, or amalgam fillings, replacing these with composite, or porcelain is an attractive alternative which offers strength and durability as well as great aesthetics. Tooth coloured fillings last about six to twelve years or more, and the procedure usually takes just one visit.
